Majors Home - Minors Listing

A minor must contain at least 9 hours of upper division course work.
Courses taken to satisfy Core Areas I through V may not be counted as course work in the minor.
Courses taken in Core Area VI may be counted as course work in the minor.
All courses taken to satisfy the minor must be completed with a grade of "C" (2.0) or better.

Required Courses: (6 hours)
SPCM 1100 , SPCM 1300, or SPCM 2150H	3
SPCM 1500 , SPCM 2200 , SPCM 2360 or SPCM 2550H	3
Electives: (9 hours)
Choose any three upper-division (3000-level or higher) SPCM courses.
Note: No more than one IDL course may count toward the minor. Internships (4910), debate practicums (4920), and directed studies (4930, 4960H, 4970H, and 4980H) do not count toward the minor.
Residency Requirements: Students may transfer one or both of the lower division courses, but they must complete all three upper-division courses in residence.
