At least 9 of the 15 semester hours required for the minor must be earned in residence. Students may receive resident credit for University-sponsored study abroad programs for which course registration and fee payment are effected through the University. Students participating in other study abroad programs must petition to transfer credits. **Students who place higher than GRMN 2002 upon college admission must complete 15 hours of upper-division GRMN courses for the minor. Credit granted through the German language placement exam or the Advanced Placement German Language exam cannot be counted towards completion of the minor requirements. **Minors are strongly encouraged to enroll in GRMN 2300 - Introduction to German Culture Studies. | |||
