Minor - Cellular Biology

• A minor must contain at least 9 hours of upper division course work.
• Courses taken to satisfy Core Areas I through V may not be counted as course work in the minor.
• Courses taken in Core Area VI may be counted as course work in the minor.

The Cellular Biology minor shall consist of 15 semester hours including a maximum six credits of prerequisite course work plus three more upper-division 3 credit courses with a Cellular Biology (CBIO) rubric, or approved alternative rubric.

BCMB(BIOL)(CHEM) 3100 and GENE(BIOL) 3200 may be counted toward the minor. However, no course 3000-level or higher that is required for, or counted toward, the student's major may be counted toward the student's minor in Cellular Biology.
