Course Title:Introduction to Dance Composition
Course
Description:
Introduction to the principles and elements of dance composition while reflecting traditional, contemporary, and experimental dance-making perspectives, with emphasis upon the development of solo, duet, and/or trio studies. Through collaborative efforts, students will further engage in choreographic practice resulting in specific group dance scores performed in an informal lecture demonstration.
