Course
Description:
Culture and management of fruit crops, including site selection, cultivar and rootstock selection, pruning and training, propagation, integrated pest management, physiology of flowering and fruiting, harvest and postharvest procedures. Laboratory provides hands-on experience pruning, training, and budding trees, and using/calibrating equipment needed for managing orchards.
